The Trinidad and Tobago Film Company (TTFC) announced that its new online Audio Visual Production Directory is now open to the public.  The new directory aims to provide a categorized database of the wealth of production resources and services available in Trinidad and Tobago, from equipment sales and rentals, to production and animation services and even ancillary services such as transportation, catering and photography. The directory is completely ‘virtual’, accessible internationally and will offer a business hub for film-related companies and services in the Trinidad and Tobago Audio-Visual industry.  The TTFC is now inviting eligible local companies and service providers to register their businesses on the new directory.

Marketing Manager of the TTFC, Mr. Rudolph Hanamji stated that “the upgraded directory is an important resource for the A/V industry, because it provides a one-stop-shop for filmmakers all over the world to access the resources they need in order to film in Trinidad and Tobago successfully”.  The directory serves as a guide that will assist international producers especially, in finding the skills and services available locally that can support their productions while on location in T&T. In addition to T&T’s internationally competitive 35% production expenditure cash rebate incentive to both local and international producers, the new production directory provides an ease of access to any filmmaker seeking to make T&T their next destination.

“The new directory is the result of considerable research and effort on the part of the TTFC team, in collaboration with several industry stakeholders who assisted in creating the online platform and beta testing,”  attested Denise Geyette, TTFC Facilitation Manager.  “Already the inflow of companies and individuals registering to the directory has been steady. The TTFC remains committed to providing both technical and customer support to anyone interested in listing themselves on t he Directory.”

The directory offers special features including upload links for YouTube videos and Facebook links and can be considered, the “Linkedin.com” of the local audio-visual industry, with the availability of user-generated “profiles” where companies and individuals can share links, network and recommend service providers. The TTFC has made access to this directory as hassle-free as possible with a simple sign up process, an easy-to-follow ‘Help’ Tutorial and frequent moderation of the Directory.

The Trinidad and Tobago Film Company (TTFC) invites all new and existing stakeholders, full time professionals and freelancers to visit their website and register their product and service information for inclusion in the directory, ensuring that it will be as current a resource as possible. Individuals who currently work, or want to work in the Trinidad and Tobago audio-visual industry and want to get their company and/or individual services registered in the Trinidad and Tobago Audio-Visual Production Directory can visit the following link - T&T Film Production Directory...
