and now: Potential and Pitfalls
Suzanne Robertson and the late Hugh
Robertson, the award-winning editor of
Midnight Cowboy, were the founders of Sharc
Productions in 1970s Trinidad. This workshop
looks back to examine the successes and
failures of that early experience, and
forward to how we can build a sustainable
film industry in Trinidad & Tobago.
See clips from The Haunting of Avril (now
known as Obeah) and La Belle Rosette and
together with the cast and crew of Bim,
Dream on Monkey Mountain and Obeah explore a
plan for the future.
